BUSINESS AFTER HOURS A SUCCESS!!
January 14, 2010 Business After Hours hosted by Grayling Youth Boosters Club was a huge success!! Not only did 63 of our local business members attend, but the food presented by Jill Andersen and her staff at Gray Rock Café was delicious!! The biggest success of the night, however, was when the Grayling Youth Boosters Club presented a $1,700 check to Grayling Little League Softball.
A 50/50 Raffle was held which raised $148.00 to be split up equally between one Chamber Member and one attendee. Fred Fisher from AJD Forest Products was drawn for the first prize (attendee), but graciously donated the $74.00 back to the Grayling Chamber. The Chamber would like to thank Fred for his support. The second winner drawn (Chamber Member) was MICHIGAN WORKS. However, the winnings ($74.00) were put back into the 50/50 Raffle pot for the next Business After Hours 50/50 Raffle as MICHIGAN WORKS was not in attendance (must be present to win).
The next Business After Hours will be held March 25, 2010 from 6-8pm at Spike’s Keg ‘O’ Nails and co-hosted by The Medicine Shoppe and AuSable Valley Animal Shelter.
