The purpose of this survey was to gather information from community residents in Grayling, MI. This survey assessed the knowledge and opinions that residents possess regarding Grayling’s current state, community organizations, and general demographics. Knowledge survey items focused on businesses in Grayling, community organizations, and general population and economic information in Crawford County. Opinion survey items focused on residents’ satisfaction with Grayling and their perceptions about its current state.
The survey was completed on a survey website (surveymonkey.com) and some of the respondents filled it out on paper and then turned it in to the Crawford County Economic Development Partnership (CCEDP). A total of 367 respondents completed the survey. The information from the community survey was used to inform community organizations in Grayling of the opinions of residents as well as indicate the knowledge residents hold in terms of the actual state of Grayling.
