Pumpkins to Fly at Wellington Farm
Fall is in the air, Pumpkins are stacked in front of the Visitor Center, cider and donuts are available for consumption and pumpkins are flying at Wellington Farm USA. Punkin-Chunkin at the 60-acre living history complex is Saturday and Sunday, October 12 & 13 AND again on October 19 & 20. An addition to the festivities this season will be “Pumpkin Bowling”. See if you can get a strike or a spare with a pumpkin.
During Punkin-Chunkin the entire 60-acre living history complex will be open and available for viewing. Crafters will be throughout Crafters Alley working in their shops. Historical interpreters will be available in all the historic buildings explaining life as t was lived during the Great Depression. There is no additional charge for Punkin-Chunkin, it’s included in the regular park admission charge. A great opportunity for an educational historic adventure for the entire family.
Wellington Farm USA is a 60-acre living history complex depicting life as it was lived in a Midwestern farming community during the Great Depression. The historical complex is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday thru Saturday. Sunday hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Wellington Farm, USA is located at 6944 S. Military Road southwest of Grayling. The farm is easily accessed from either Exit 251 of I-75 or Exit 206 of US-127.
