The Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce is a designated “Center of Excellence” for local residents and will provide support for entrepreneurship activities. Entrepreneurship is a key driver of our economy and a high number of jobs are created by small businesses started by entrepreneurially minded individuals, including many jobs in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
Michigan Works, the Job Force Board and the Michigan Small Business Development Center (MI-SBDC) have partnered to create “Centers of Excellence” are business one-stops for any and all entrepreneurs.
Knowing the large part entrepreneurs play in the economic vitality of the region, the purpose of this is to increase the number of access points for entrepreneurs. These locations will have access to entrepreneurial resource guides and literature, as well as, direct connections with the MI-SBDC, the Procurement and Technical Assistance Center, MI-Works, the Business one-stop website and more. These are vital services that can grow your business and start up new businesses across Northern Michigan.
